today was hard

so today was so hard to get motivated i just didnt want to do it today but i did anyway. so im happy about that. im a little i dont know kinda let down . as you know i lost six pounds last week and i asked how could this be and some people said probably just water weight and its like well that was kinda bitchy even if its true i was just like well if its just water then why am i doing this i told my husband this and he said well even if it was just water thats six pounds off the scale and you can only build on that to reach your goal if you keep it up. so i didnt devour the cake he made last night lol has anyone felt like this be it through the blogg or from somethin someone else said..???

    Yes, of course!
I get off track often (usually months at a time) and when I start again, DH will say “how long is it gonna last this time?” Things like that.
Good for you for sticking with it eventhough you weren’t motivated today. I agree with what your hubby said too.

Maybe the poster didn’t mean for it to be bitchy but rather just stating a fact because the water weight does come off first. Just like later you might have a weight gain during your time of the month because then we retain water too. Since you had asked if it was normal maybe the poster just wanted to make you feel better that it was normal and not to worry. But make no mistake, it wasn’t all water weight that you lost. You lost real weight too. Especially if you worked out. Keep doing all the right things girl and don’t get discouraged about anything or by anyone. :)

Hey! that is GREAT that you resisted. I have been losin my battle again the throw in the towel mentality myself. But we gotta have faith! Your husband sounds like quite the motivator and encourager…so glad to hear you have someone like that in your corner!
    We can do it!

I lost about the same as you last week and I also read your feedback and wondered if the same was true for me. I guess time will tell when we next weigh in but I’m thinking you did a great job last week and I’m pleased you kept up with it. It’s unlikely we’ll loose the same again and perhaps we’ll maintain but 6lbs over 2 weeks is still great. I don’t think the poster meant any harm, just trying to reassure you.

    Chin up and keep going!
